Stewart helped me out of a huge jam with the IRS 18 years ago and I haven't trusted anyone else with my personal or business taxes since. His firm helped me setup my company's bookkeeping system and Jenna does a stellar job at answering my questions and straightening out the mistakes I've made..

I'm impressed with Stewart's knowledge of the tax code and his ability to negotiate with the IRS on my behalf. His files and record keeping are impeccable. He keeps copies of all of my original documents. Every year when we go over my returns, he can show me in an instant where any number on the forms is referenced to the source documentation in his files.

An IRS audit is an experience that i found traumatic and hope to never have to live through again. I can honestly say that I feel safer because of Stewart's help

I have been using Stewart for the last few years..and Again, he has done a FANTASTIC JOB!!
He is very through, honest and works all the time... When I need advice, he is right there..
When questions about changes on the IRS rules come up, ..He always has the answer.

I used an Austin Tx accountant for years..and had my suspicions that the returns were not filed out correctly...and when I started taking my business to Stewart, he was immediately aware of what games the others were doing..


This is my 5th year with Stewart Davis, and I am satisfied every-time he works our taxes..
Would I consider another accountant..NO!! I also drive into Kerrville to give him my business because he is the Best I have used...Stay away from those Big City firms..They are too expensive and really don't care about the little guys..even though my return is more like a BOOK!!! the large firms are more interested in the Big Boys..
Trust him, you will not be disappointed.

I found Stewart T. Davis , CPA. , because my big-shot Austin CPA was not as sharp as I had thought. I spent Years with the "other firm" only to find out that my deductions and benefits, for real estate sales, were not properly written off.

I was LIVID, !!!! as it would be too much trouble to refile all those returns. Stewart helped me and took the time to think it all through, to my advantage.

Just because an accountant lives in a small town, loves the simpler life and works with his BRAIN... Does not mean he is any less capable that the Firms in Austin or San Antonio.

Would I use anyone else, NO.. and I will admit, my return is a "Book" will all the investments, Oil Royalties, stock trades and dividends, exemptions....

I call him up with crazy questions about Stockholders meetings and write-offs, foreign tax withholding on Dividends and trades, possible courses of actions that we can take... He is always there for me and best of all, he is reasonable in his charges.

AGAIN, Would I use anyone else... NO.

Not sure if Mary went to the same place I did, because I found Stewart Davis, CPA, to be extremely professional and prompt in dealing with my taxes. I did not have any IRS problems, but he went back into my previous years tax returns and refiled them getting me an even bigger return than Turbotax said I was due. I would highly recommend him to anyone else looking for a CPA or for simple tax preparation.
